The list of the most natural things on earth includes birth, love, death and comparing a remake to the original version. Mudiwa Hood’s “Tati Tivatipe” is basically “Anhu Acho Tisu’s twin brother that went to Harvard and came back with zero autotune and “too much sauce”!
But before you close the page let me assure you that the message has been left unharmed; if anything, this acoustic version has made it more apparent. If you’ve listened to the song I know you probably thought to yourself “damn, who knew this could work”; I guess a braggadocious anthem hits differently when backed by guitar chords – it’s like when you call someone a peasant and also give them flowers at the same time.
