Isai Kupenya is music for the people, supposedly by one of the people, and ethically, has to be considered passable before it is even rated. However, the song is not entirely wanting when considered objectively. The trap snare is well concealed under layers of thumping bass and melodic piano chords, and the result is a meaningful rap production.
Bling4’s uncomplicated and direct lyricism that teeters dangerously close to plain devotion is most effective in conveying his message. And considering the struggle subject of the song, the assumption is that conveying the message is the primary goal.
Bling4’s Isai Kupenya conforms in form and style to the sound that’s currently trending in the Zimbabwean Hip Hop field, therefore he’s yet to prove the hardiness of his career.
