Up and coming rapper has just released a new music video for his single Jokes. I resonate a lot with the song as I have seen it 10 years in the making and finally happy to see a finished product
The song seems to set up a new path for the artist as he embarks on his musical journey. He talks of a girl that he is now serious with. I symbolised this to the many passions we have and either strive for or push aside because of various reseasons.
Jokes is a very mellow track but at the same time powerful, with potent emphasis on “Ain’t got no time for drama! I’d rather you be rude and honest than polite and fake” It is a song about standing one’s ground and saying enough is enough.
The video features a Marco walking through the streets of Zimbabwe. And it stars Nazirah Omar as the girl he keeps going back and forth with.
