Nutty O – Blow My Mind

At this point, you shouldn’t be shocked by the fact that when rising stars do covers, they make sure it definitely goes down (so no! this is not your typical bathroom acoustics cover – this business is serious as a heart attack). The original version of “Blow My Mind” is definitely deserving of all the airplay it has been getting (Davido and Chris Brown made sure that things to be done were done!) and it makes perfect sense that we compare Nutty O’s cover to the original.  The bar was set at a level too elusive for the mere mortal, but the Zimbabwean Don Dadda definitely pulled through, and I’m sure the original is trembling at this point.
